Can Frying Oil Be Reused?
Cooking oil can sometimes be reused, but quality declines with heat, food particles and time. Treat reuse as a food-quality and storage decision rather than an unlimited cycle.
Food-safety note: Keep raw chicken separate from ready-to-eat foods, marinate under refrigeration, and cook poultry to at least 165°F / 73.9°C as measured with a food thermometer. Hot-oil frying requires careful adult handling and suitable equipment.

Cool before handling
Allow used oil to cool fully before filtering or transferring it. Never handle or pour very hot frying oil.
Filter crumbs
Burnt breading accelerates off-flavors. If oil is being kept, remove food particles using a suitable method once the oil is safely cool.
Use judgment
Discard oil that has developed unpleasant odor, unusual thickening, heavy foaming or early smoking.
